Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS), the powerhouse behind the global format phenomenon American Ninja Warrior, has named industry veteran Elwin de Groot as Senior Unscripted Development Executive for TBS International.

Bringing over 20 years of expertise from companies like MTV/ P+, Endemol Shine, Talpa and Armoza Formats, de Groot transitions from an advisory role to in-house leadership at TBS’s LA office. He will spearhead the strategy to develop original IP and adapt TBS content for U.S. audiences.

The 2026 Masters made history as Rory McIlroy secured back-to-back victories. Celebrating 51 years of broadcasting the legendary tournament in Japan, the TBS International on-site crew provided premier production support at Augusta National, delivering every thrilling moment to Japan.

The Masters 2026 will once again be held in Augusta, Georgia.
For more than 50 years, TBS has exclusively broadcast the tournament to viewers in Japan.
